Our Fall Lacrosse Program is designed for athletes (4th through 8th grade) who want to continue developing their game in a fun, challenging, and competitive environment. Whether your player is new to the sport or has years of experience, our coaching staff will provide age and skill-appropriate instruction that emphasizes individual development while fostering a love for the game.

Practices will focus on building strong fundamentals through stick work, shooting, dodging, defensive concepts, ground balls, small-sided games, and live competition. As the season progresses, players will apply these skills in game situations while learning offensive and defensive team concepts.

We believe the best way to develop confident lacrosse players is to create an environment where athletes are encouraged to play fast, think creatively, compete with intensity, and learn from every rep. Our goal is to educate, empower, and equip every player with the tools they need to succeed while having fun with teammates throughout the Fall season.

Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of the game through engaging drills, games, and activities modeled after a real lacrosse practice — but with an emphasis on fun, learning, and building confidence. Whether your child has never picked up a stick before or is just looking to try something new, these clinics are the perfect opportunity to get involved in one of the fastest growing sports around.

No equipment? No problem. We will provide sticks, helmets, and protective gear for all participants at no cost.

The clinics will be led by Varsity Head Coach Sam Rose, his coaching staff, the Junior Wolverines coaches, and current Junior Wolverines players, creating a great environment for young athletes to learn from experienced coaches and players who love the game.

Come out, have fun, make new friends, and discover why so many athletes fall in love with lacrosse!

Our Skills & Drills Lacrosse Clinic is designed to give players a high energy, focused environment where they can sharpen fundamentals and elevate their overall game. Led by Varsity Head Coach Sam Rose and his experienced staff, the clinic emphasizes skill development through repetition, attention to detail, and personalized coaching. Athletes will work on core techniques such as stick skills, footwork, shooting, dodging, defensive positioning, and game IQ all within a fast paced structure that keeps players engaged and constantly improving.

With a deliberately small athlete to coach ratio, each participant receives meaningful, hands-on instruction and feedback tailored to their skill level. The goal is not only to build confidence and consistency, but also to help players better understand the flow and strategy of the game. Whether you’re looking to strengthen fundamentals or prepare for the next level of competition, this clinic provides the reps, coaching, and intensity needed to take your game forward.

If you have more than one child, please reach out to jrdirectorwoodstock@gmail.com to discuss our multi-athlete discount.
